Her transformative experiences, from international tours to deep dives into wellness and sound healing, have culminated in her latest project with Ray Montford.

Lynn Moffatt – an embodiment of musical metamorphosis, weaving her journey through the heartstrings of her listeners. Born in the small town of Capreol, Ontario, Moffatt's early exposure to a rich tapestry of musical genres laid the foundation for her eclectic artistry. Her childhood spent in lyrical exploration and her stint in her local church choir were the first steps in her lifelong musical expedition.

Upon graduating from the University of Waterloo, Moffatt's relocation to Toronto marked the beginning of her earnest musical exploration. Her early forays into the city's music scene, from singing in clubs to performing with cover bands, set the stage for her artistic development. The formation of the comedic multimedia duo, SidePonyNation, with Tanya Casole-Gouveia, and later, The Sunday Afternoons with Lindsay Cox, showcased Moffatt's versatility and her ability to connect with diverse audiences.

Moffatt's encounter with Chris Hall and Terry Brown, leading to her lead vocal role in the “INANNA: An Ancient Dance/Rock Spectacle,” was a pivotal moment in her career, opening doors to new collaborative horizons. Her first international tour across the United States, including a performance at the SXSW Music Festival, was not just a journey across states, but a journey of self-discovery and artistic growth. The formation of the Lynn Moffatt Band was a natural progression, bringing together talented musicians to elevate her sound.

The release of her 6-song EP, Produced by Chris Hall, mixed by Terry Brown, and mastered by Ray Montford, was a testament to her evolving sound and growing influence in the Toronto music scene. Her performances across esteemed venues and festivals further solidified her position as a notable artist.

The global pause in 2020 was a turning point for Moffatt, leading her to introspect and delve into health and wellness, yoga, and the power of sound. This period of reflection and learning fueled her songwriting, infusing her music with deeper meaning and purpose. Her collaboration with Ray Montford in 2022, resulting in 12 original tracks, marked a significant shift in her musical narrative, deeply rooted in themes of renewal and spiritual awakening. Moffatt will spend 2024 sharing these new songs.
